What I am really trying to do is when I need to make a reference to a 
Post say a screenshot about a a menu choice in Preferences in answering 
a question. I just want to insert a reference to go to:

news://news.mozilla.org/mozilla.support.screenshots

and view post named in reference to this question.

In communicator day doing the above would either drop you into that 
group when the link was clicked. Or if you were not subscribed it would 
subscribe you.

This no long appears to work.

I tried peter's method and it does actually bring you to exact message 
but it shows screens full of header information.

His method is while in your screenshot right click and choose copy 
location.

Apparently there is no easy way to get people to the group.
