Couple of "for what it's worths":
* Anyone who has a problem with the forum rules should not be
complaining to innocent people who are simply following the rules.
* Message content is much more important than message format.
Snipping, top-mosting, HTML, etc. is not really a big deal, so long
as you're helping users with their <insert Mozilla product name
here> questions.
Thank You Chris !
I try to follow the rules when I can. But I get tired of getting
chopped off at the knees. So in the case of Sniping I err on the side
of leaving to much.
I am finally glad you have said what really important. Helping other
with their problems is the important thing. Not whether its in html
or not: whether its top posted, bottom posted, or interspersed; The
point is about help other with our fantastic Mozilla products.
I don't normally post in HTML in Mozilla newsgroups except in the Old
MTTM group and on rare occasions in General. And I've given up the
battle for Top posting.
I've tried this snipping and no way I do it is right. so I just
don't. I guess you might say I pixx of ever p[arty equally with this
one. So is the best I can do.
