I look at top posting / bottom posting, this way.

In these groups people have problems, other people have suggested
solutions, I have my suggestions.

First thing I need to know is "What is the problem?".

Then I need to know what others have suggested, so I don't say the same
thing.

Then, maybe, what were the results of trying those suggestions?

Then I might be able to suggest something to try.

This process works real well if bottom posting is followed, i.e. problem
followed by suggestion, followed by solution. All the way, reading the
thread, I'm just going down, down, down (or like reading chapters of a
book, first Chap 1, then Chap 2, etc..)

If the problem ends up at the bottom of the post, then I have to go up a
little bit for the first suggestion, then up a bit more, and a bit more,
and a bit more. A pain in the b****m!!

Just my opinion.

Daniel
