All I really saw in that bug was a discussion about Google groups and
mail list posters. It seems some people are more concerned with those
who don't use TB than those who DO. This seems a strange focus to me.
Worse, it appears that a great deal of attention is given to users from
a source of much spam. Perhaps educating users from those sources as to
the availability of TB, and how to use it is indicated.
While posting an image to Photobucket, or whatever other image hosting
site one wants to use is adequate, but it would be better if a small
binary could be included in a post in the newsgroup. This is just my
personal feeling on the subject, and I realize there are potential
problems with that approach.
