"racial slur" ???? I didn't see anything along that line but if so then
it is uncalled for no matter the argument rhetoric.

The redirection to another newsgroup a la .general is by request of
those who oversee this server when a topic digresses from the OP. Some
of us do NOT agree, including myself, but we follow the wishes to
maintain reasonable harmony. As far as bottom posting, it is a request
nto a rule. It's always been this way since the beginning in the
Netscape/Mozilla newsgroups. Bottom posting maintains chronological order.

Agree, that's why we advocate non-snipping and bottom posting to
maintain chronological order and replies posted under each important
part of the thread - interspersed in other words.

Sorry, you'll have to take that up with the moderators of this server.
That's what THEY want.

Nobody that posts here on a regular basis does so except for one
individual (language), but according to the moderators, he posts good
replies sometimes so it's ok if he is a foul-mouth.

Well, at least thanks for maintaining the traditions of the group by
bottom posting. ;-)
Would it be too much trouble to at least post with a Name other than
just ?????. Maintaining anonymity is understandable but it tends to
devaluate your position(s).
So, how are things these days in and around Rancho Palos Verdes?
