New to the list.... Surprised, that being "frank" like this is acceptable.  I guess I do have a lot to learn.

Sorry for being frank, but I wouldn't want to trust a cryptographic
application developed by somebody who has to ask a question like
that...

That said, you need to port the application to use Windows-specific
APIs. I am certainly no cryptography expert, but I would suggest
taking a look at APIs like CryptAcquireContext() and CryptGenRandom().
