It builds the latest (blead)perl-5.11.0 , but 6 of the 1537 test scripts 
fail because Hash::Util is unloadable due to some memory access issue wrt 
Util.dll:

Can't load 'C:/bleadperl_4/lib/auto/Hash/Util/Util.dll' for module 
Hash::Util: load_file:Invalid access to memory location at 
C:/bleadperl_4/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 201.
 at -e line 0
Compilation failed in require.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted.

There's no such problem when building with 3.4.5. (C:\bleadperl_4 is the 
build directory, btw.)

As to why this problem arises is beyond me, and I certainly don't expect the 
problem to be fixed on the strength of this post. Faik, it could be 
something that ought to be fixed from within the perl source.

Any ideas on how I might better get to the guts of the issue ?
