IIRC, that 20060824 binutils snapshot was withdrawn, (or was supposed to 
have been), precisely because of this issue.

I may be wrong, or I may be confusing it with something else, but isn't 
dllwrap now considered to be deprecated?  In any case, you may have 
better luck with 2.18.50, or with an earlier version.
