Gmail does not deliver your own messages you send to a mail list. Neither in you inbox, not in your Spam folder. If you are replying to a thread, you will see your message because it was sent, not because it was received.

The thing comes from gmail, it does not depend on which email client you use.

Anyway, before sending duplicates, people can check the website of the KDE mail list, and they will see that their mail is there :-)
