***BOGO*** cmake libs getting folded?

Ok, here's a strange build error (kdebase):

Linking CXX shared module ../../../lib/librenaudioplugin.so
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lkparts:/usr/local/qt4-copy/lib/libQtGui.so

Clearly something got :-joined when it should have been two args; any 
guesses how that happened? So far I'm only seeing this in makefiles, I 
haven't figured out where it came from.
